Monsoon season is perhaps the reason that many arizonians are able to make it through the summer. It starts in the afternoon with the wind and the dust; then comes the rain! It pours! For about 20 minutes you see the heavens open and the water comes pouring out. It is really fun to watch.
This is Hazel's not only the first monsoon of the season but also her first monson ever. She loves water so I can only imagine what was going through her head looking at the rain coming out of the sky. Mikey enjoyed it as well, can you blame him? I have to say 'I love the rain'.

HEY!! your kids are so cute! If you are bored, I believe stephanie will be in the scottsdale healthcare-osborn hospital for another week. Room 629... but then she will be home (close to you) next week. I am sure she wouldn't mind visiters. Give me a call and I will give you her address. I can't believe you have two children!! when will I catch up?

i LOVE the rain too! especially when there's thunder & lightning! maybe we both love the rain so much because we both live in sunny states. i bet if we lived in seattle we'd be over it.
Man, I totally miss that time of the year in AZ. Monsoon season is one of my favorite things about Arizona. I miss it. :(
